Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
- This is a new leadership position created to partner with the Executive Director & CFO to drive the finance function as an enabler of profitable business growth, also carry out capital deployment by strategically investing or utilizing available funds to generate an increase in profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up strategic business financial goals aligned to the growth trajectory of the company with a strong review mechanism.
- Working closely with the MD to support the business to achieve its financial results through top line growth, effective cost management, and compliance with corporate financial procedures.
- Act as the custodian for Corporate Governance, regularly share information, best practices within the business and help the organization to keep pace with the fast-changing business scenario and enable value addition to the stakeholders.
- Advise on key strategic areas of growth for the company – like M&A, Partnerships, JV’s etc. including their structuring from a legal standpoint.
- Managing consolidation of Accounts with latest accounting standards and financial reporting systems.
- Responsible for preparation of Quarterly / half yearly and Annual Accounts and Finalization of Accounts.
- Accountable for treasury including investments, fund mobilization and working capital management.
- Design, strategize and deliver direct and indirect tax initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, variance, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Overseeing Factory accounting including product costing.
- Ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to stock exchanges, ROC, SEBI, Companies Act, etc.
- Ensuring cost control initiatives in close coordination with other functional heads & process owners.
- Improvise the existing accounting & internal financial control systems and SOP’s to maximize profitability and minimize risks.
- Interface with the internal & external auditors as a focal point for efficient management of the Statutory, Tax & Internal Audits.
- Develop efficient functional managers and create a healthy talent pipeline within the team.
Candidate Profile
Qualification & Experience
- A qualified Chartered Accountant is a must.
- Age: 45 – 48 years
- Experience of working with a listed organization in the manufacturing industry, preferably from the Chemical domain with minimum revenue of INR 1000 Cr.
- Should have strong experience in treasury, indirect taxation (GST) & working capital management.
- Experience of having worked in an entrepreneur led organization is desired.
- Should have exposure to working on ERP – SAP
- Willingness to travel across manufacturing sites.
