Key Result Areas:
- Lead the entire End to End order fulfillment with a focus on execution, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure design feasibility and efficient production.
- Develop vendors and train them on the Quality systems & processes
- Oversee Manufacturing Operations to meet the quality standards required for European and global markets.
- Drive engineering efficiency by improving skill development and reducing productivity time.
- Implement Lean practices and build an accountability-driven operations culture.
- Collaborate closely with Overseas Operations Director for best practices, technical exchange, and vendor development.
- Build a strong operations team to support future expansion
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily functioning and strategic improvements in Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Service.
- Improve quality management systems to achieve zero-defect manufacturing and global compliance standards.
- Resolve bottlenecks in Engineering & Manufacturing
- Review drawing quality, address complex technical challenges, and mentor on design and CAPEX strategy
- Streamline vendor management and enforce quality control for outsourced components.
- Develop and implement operational KPIs and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
- Foster cross-functional alignment between engineering design, project management, and production to reduce delays.
- Aligning with and Driving Core Business Goals
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions instead of reactive fixes.
- Enhance collaboration between Indian operations and international teams.
- Enforcing Cost Discipline and Ensuring Budget Compliance at Plant Level
- Build operational scalability to support revenue growth
Key Skills:
- Strong technical understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes (especially sheet metal fabrication) or process equipment with applications in the Pharma / Biotech sectors
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams across engineering and production.
- Experience in transforming mid-size operations with a hands-on yet strategic approach.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Comfortable with data, metrics, and operational technology tools.
- Willingness to be on-site frequently and deeply engaged on the shop floor.
- Relationship-building with international counterparts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B. Tech- Mechanical/Production
- 18+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing leadership roles.
- Exposure to global quality standards and outsourcing-based production models is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to improve delivery performance and operational efficiency.
- Extensive hands-on involvement in 3D modeling, creation of detailed machine drawings, and complete machine assembly and integration
- Age: Preference for high-energy, forward-looking individuals with a “start-up within scale-up” mindset. Upto 55 yrs.
