Job Purpose
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies with the objective of achieving short-term and long-term goals, expanding the company’s market presence and managing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute a robust business growth strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive revenue growth through new business development, market penetration, and customer diversification.
- Understand the market trends, competitors, their product portfolio & USPs basis which analyze & drive sales strategy to meet desired objectives.
- Drive cost optimization and profitability through effective pricing, product positioning, and operational efficiency.
P&L and Business Management
- Full responsibility for P&L of the Engineering Plastics Division.
- Ensure sustained profitability through effective pricing, cost management and margin improvement.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to achieve growth milestones.
Sales & Marketing
- Build and lead a high-performance sales and marketing organization.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, key account management frameworks and establish long-term partnerships with the end-users in target industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the key customers and engage with them to understand and resolve product & services related complaints and negotiate term contracts.
Operations Management & Supply Chain
- Guide operations teams on product/ grade mixes and dispatch schedules based on customer prioritization
- Suggest technical upgradations required at the Plant to stay competitive in business and program manage such projects
- Develop & streamline systems closely working with the team at the plant level to enhance operational effectiveness to meet goals within cost, time & quality parameters.
- Oversee vendor development and supply chain optimization to ensure cost competitiveness and reliable delivery.
Innovation & Product Development
- Drive product development in collaboration with R&D to create differentiated and high-value solutions.
- Ensure alignment with customer needs and sustainability requirements.
- Leverage technical strengths to develop specialty grades and tailor-made solutions.
People & Organization Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a strong cross-functional team capable of scaling with the business.
- Encourage a performance-driven culture with emphasis on accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Ensure succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chemistry/ BE with specialization in Chemical Engineering or Polymer technology with MBA degree is preferred
- Age: Upto 45 Years
- Executives should have experience of working in the polymer/ plastics industry/ compounding / recycling process.
- Proven track record of P&L management, scaling business, driving growth, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong exposure to domestic markets preferably with experience of dealing with customers in the automotive, electrical/electronics, or consumer applications
