Job Purpose:
- Chief of Human Resource leader to establish and lead the Human Resources function for their new greenfield manufacturing facility in India. The Chief of Human Resources will play a critical role in building the HR organization from the ground up, aligning it with global standards while adapting to local needs. This role requires deep experience in setting up HR systems, policies, talent acquisition, compliance, industrial relations, and culture-building in a manufacturing environment. A critical part of the role would also be to be responsible for the administrative function within the organization.
Greenfield HR Set-Up & Strategic Leadership:
- Create a Five-year Human Resource plan in sync with the Five-year business plan for the organisation with focus on cultural Transformation.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Develop and execute a robust hiring plan for blue-collar and white-collar roles.
- Build partnerships with recruitment agencies, academic institutions, and skill development centers.
Industrial Relations & Compliance:
- Set up and manage employee relations strategy, including liaison with labor departments and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, regulations, and ESG standards.
HR Operations & Systems:
- Oversee HR systems implementation (HRMS), payroll, attendance, and benefits administration.
- Implement HR best practices in line with ISO and learn manufacturing principles.
Performance Management & Compensation:
- Design and implement a robust performance management system aligned with KPIs and business goals.
- Manage compensation structures, incentive programs, salary benchmarking, and annual review cycles.
Learning, Development & Capability Building:
- Conduct training needs analysis and roll out technical, behavioral, and leadership training programs.
- Build succession plans and future-ready leadership talent within the organization.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging work environment.
- Develop communication strategies, reward & recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms.
Organizational Development:
- Support change management, organizational restructuring, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
- Promote values, ethics, and a performance-driven culture across all levels.
CSR, ESG & Sustainability:
- Integrate HR into corporate social responsibility initiatives and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance.
Administrative Support Services:
- Canteen management, travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and ticketing for employees and guests.

Qualifications & Experience :
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
- Experience: 18+ years in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a greenfield or large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in handling large-scale recruitment, plant HR operations, and industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and local compliance.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and management skills.
- Proficiency in the local language – Marathi
