Job Purpose:

The executive would serve as a trusted source to the office of the Chairman and Managing Director and be a critical member of the senior management team. He / She will oversee and provide strategic inputs in Finance and Treasury related matters while actively participating in strategic operations, assisting in decision-making on key matters. The executive would also be representing the organization to external stakeholders. This role provides leadership in controlling and overseeing all business operations for the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Growth

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the company.
  • Explore and evaluate organic and inorganic expansion opportunities.
  • Identify potential opportunities to increase revenue streams; act as the power center, offering insights, advice, and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Responsible for setting and following standards for excellence in operations, implementing policies and procedures & leveraging synergies among the business areas for further growth.
  • Present and implement business plans for organic or inorganic growth opportunities in the manufacturing and trading spaces.

Accounts, Finance & Tax Management

  • Work closely with the CFO to support the business to achieve its financial results through top line growth, effective cost management, and compliance with corporate financial procedures.
  • Provide leadership to the CFO and financial team.
  • Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and taxation matters.
  • Evaluate and scrutinize potential investment avenues and other strategic undertakings to fuel the company’s expansion.

Treasury & Investor Relations

  • Interface with various auditors to facilitate audits.
  • Represent the company in interactions with the government departments.
  • Forge robust affiliations with external collaborators, such as auditors, tax consultants, investors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Liaising and negotiating with banks, financial institutions and NBFCs for fund-raising and non-fund-based facilities.

Legal & Secretarial Oversight

  • Manage legal cases and provide strategic guidance.
  • Manage interactions with government agencies, including regulatory reporting and compliance.
  • Supervise the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Business Leadership

  • Responsible for overseeing overall operations; providing time-to-time guidance and support to the plant heads and HODs by establishing and maintaining effective communication.
  • Reviewing existing processes and systems in the organization and accordingly devising, implementing measures, and providing support and guidance to ensure higher operational efficiency.
  • Streamline HR processes and policies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or a Cost Accountant + MBA; having 20+ years of experience preferably in the Manufacturing sector with a background in managing finance, business, and strategic roles.
  • Age: 48 – 53 Years
  • Demonstrated expertise across diverse functions, including finance, strategic financial planning, and business.
  • Experience of having worked with legacy promoter led, professionally driven, medium-size organizations.
  • Experience and exposure to expanding businesses through green field projects or acquisitions or trading opportunities.
