Job Purpose:
- The executive will establish, lead, and continuously improve the organization’s HR function, ensuring that HR becomes a strategic partner to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the HR department from the ground up, including defining organisation structure, roles, SOPs, and policies.
- Build consultative relationships with all stakeholders to create an environment of excellence and continuous improvement in a high growth environment and ensure that HR is aligned with the organization business plans.
- Contribute and assist top management in various strategic decisions from HR perspective.
- Ascertaining long term/ short term requirement of Manpower with overall responsibility of ensuring availability of optimum manpower.
- Develop a strategy and roadmap for Talent Management and retention to groom future leaders from within.
- Identify learning & development needs across all levels, set up calendar for various training and skill development programs, lead, coordinate and facilitate all training programs; whether in-house or outsourced.
- Proactively suggest and assist top management in developing an annual reward & recognition program for increments, promotions etc. based on the performance evaluation.
- Analyze data relating to HR and setting up reliable MIS Systems for top management.
- Proactively identify and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner that protects the needs of the site to operate in an effective and efficient manner.
Qualification:
- MBA in Human Resources
- 10 – 15 years of HR experience in civil construction & project-based companies is a must
- Prior experience in setting up HR departments or leading HR transformation initiatives will be a strong advantage
