Job Purpose
- The Executive will own and accelerate the ECommerce business across the online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Define and execute a unified e-commerce strategy across marketplaces, D2C channels, and emerging channels next to B2B channels
- Own full P&L accountability—revenue growth, margin optimization, expense management, and ROI on technology investments
- Lead forecasting, budgeting processes aligned with corporate goals. & provide market int. competitor analysis.
Technology & Innovation
- Lead selection, implementation, and integration of the D2C & E-Commerce tech stack (D2C platform, CRM, marketing automation, personalization engines)
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics for demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, customer segmentation, and personalized merchandising
- Manage digital transformation to ensure scalable, secure, and data-driven operations, making sure tech investments align with business goals.
Omnichannel & Customer Experience
- Architect seamless journeys across online and offline touchpoints
- Drive exceptional site performance, content strategy, and fulfilment SLAs to maximize conversion and retention
- Resolve escalations proactively, using analytics and customer insights to refine assortment, pricing, and promotional tactics
- Manage marketplace vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, quality, and optimal product visibility.
Go-to-Market & Growth Execution
- Oversee assortment planning, demand forecasting, stock allocation, and replenishment to meet sell-in and sell-out targets
- Lead product launches, exclusive campaigns, and performance-driven marketing (SEM, social, affiliate, display) to acquire and engage customers
- Track and report on KPIs: Gross merchandise value, revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, fulfilment efficiency & CSAT
- Continuously seek opportunities of launching new channels by considering market and consumer trends and following channel development plans
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
- Align with finance, supply chain, product, marketing, and legal teams for forecasting, budget control, compliance, and launch readiness
- Establish e-commerce policies, data-privacy standards, and marketplace governance frameworks
- Provide market intelligence and competitor benchmarking to ensure informed strategic decisions
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the e-commerce organization
- Champion change management and digital adoption to future-proof retail capabilities
Key Skills & Attributes
- Proven track record of building and scaling ecommerce businesses, preferably in consumer durables, or adjacent consumer electronics categories (e.g. audio-visual, laptops, mobiles etc.)
- Strong relationships with marketplaces
- Ability to design and execute joint business plans with marketplaces
- Ecommerce levers – pricing, promotions, digital content, traffic-to-conversion analytics & supply chain integration

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of leadership experience in e-commerce from consumer durables / consumer electronics space.
- Demonstrated track record of P&L ownership, digital transformation, and marketplace/D2C growth; Should have directly handled a sizable ecommerce revenue.
- Expertise in e-commerce platforms, CRM
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in AI-driven forecasting, performance modelling, and e-commerce analytics
