Job Purpose
- The Strategic Accounts Manager would play a strategic role in managing key accounts for the region of Bangalore. The incumbent would be responsible for creating and promoting the Brand Image and Commercial success of the product range in the relevant market via key customer and industry interactions.
Key Objectives
- Deliver and surpass assigned sales targets across strategic accounts on a consistent basis.
- Drive sustained growth by increasing share of wallet within existing accounts.
- Build depth in client relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Enable a solution-led, consultative approach to account engagement.
- Leverage data and insights to drive effective planning, forecasting, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- Formulate and drive account plans aligned to revenue and growth objectives.
- Own and manage a portfolio of accounts to deliver performance in line with business expectations.
- Identify opportunities within accounts and convert them into business outcomes.
- Establish strong connects with decision-makers to strengthen account penetration.
- Oversee contract lifecycle to ensure continuity and retention of business
Sales & Business Development
- Consistently drive revenue performance through effective opportunity conversion
- Balance account expansion with new business development across target customers
- Lead proposal development and support deal closure with a focus on profitability.
- Contribute to go-to-market initiatives including new product introductions.
- Position offerings effectively to create demand and unlock new opportunities.
Customer Management & Retention
- Drive long-term account value through proactive engagement and relationship management.
- Anticipate customer needs and align solutions to evolving business requirements.
- Ensure high retention through strong contract management and service delivery alignment.
- Build and nurture influential stakeholder and KOL relationships.
- Address customer concerns effectively and ensure closure with accountability.

Educational & Experience Requirements
- 12 – 15 years of experience in sales, preferably in:
- Office furniture industry
- Related B2B sectors
- Consultative selling environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred)
