- Cluster Sales Head – Acute Segment is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the acute segment of the company’s product portfolio.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the acute segment, aligning them with the overall company objectives and long-term vision. Identify opportunities for market expansion, new product launches, and market penetration strategies.
- Manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they meet their individual and team targets. Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the team.
- Oversee the sales performance in the acute segment, monitoring sales metrics and KPIs to achieve revenue goals. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and pricing tactics to optimize revenue generation.
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support business transformation initiatives. Ensure that change efforts are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor intelligence to identify market trends, challenges, and opportunities in the acute segment. Use this information to make informed decisions and develop competitive strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the acute segment, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing sales processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement to enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
- Plan and execute successful product launches in the acute care segment. Monitor the product lifecycle, identify opportunities for product enhancements, and develop strategies to sustain product growth and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards within the acute segment. Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure compliance in product registrations and approvals.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to identify business priorities and drive sales strategy and programs with the objective of helping the organization meet its strategic goals.
- Prepare and manage budgets for the acute segment, allocating resources effectively to achieve business goals while optimizing costs.
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, medical affairs, supply chain, and research & development to ensure effective collaboration and seamless operations across the organization.
- Medico Marketing Activities, representing the organization at industry events, trade shows.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the acute segment, including sales trends, market share, and progress against set targets.
- Qualified Science Graduate / BPharm with a Management Degree from an institute of repute
- 20 yrs + experience in Pharma Formulation multi-Speciality business having worked with reputed Indian multinationals
- Prior demonstrated success of managing minimum 600 cr P&L of the Acute therapy segment
- Positive thinking, ability to evaluate problems, find and propose solutions
- Stakeholder Management by their ability to manage the team (leadership, delegation, control) and field staff management
- Accuracy through the ability to provide accurate data and reports through well-thought actions and followed procedures
- Business acumen with good communication skills
