Job Purpose
- The Executive will lead the IT Infrastructure function, providing strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, and operations of IT systems that support business needs. The role covers end-to-end management of technical architecture, infrastructure engineering, operations, and IT service delivery. The Executive will collaborate closely with the CISO to execute security-related infrastructure initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s digital agenda, business continuity, and growth plans across India and international locations.
- Oversee the design, procurement, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, servers (on-premises and cloud), storage, collaboration tools, and security systems.
- Drive modernization initiatives such as network security enhancement, NAC implementation, cloud adoption, and execution of the infrastructure roadmap through 2027.
- Define the infrastructure architecture to ensure scalability, high availability, and optimum performance.
- Establish and manage budgets, procurement, financial models, and vendor relationships through SLAs and RFPs, ensuring cost-effective and compliant operations.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT infrastructure team responsible for operations, end-user support, network and server management, storage, OT systems, and asset management.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and collaboration.
- Ensure infrastructure support for new offices, branches, and manufacturing locations, including local and remote setups.
- Partner with the Head of Cybersecurity to implement robust security frameworks such as PAM, WAF, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
- Maintain system stability and resilience through proactive monitoring, patch management, and adherence to IT policies and audit standards.
- Define and execute data backup, archiving, and retention strategies with strong governance and compliance to ITGC, IFC, and enterprise policies.
- Deliver efficient IT services focused on user experience and high internal customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (Applications, Analytics, Security, Digital, Manufacturing) to ensure integrated solutions.
- Implement program governance models and oversee project performance to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Prepare and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Manage enterprise-level IT risks in coordination with the risk management function, ensuring timely mitigation.
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums to share best practices and enhance visibility.
- Mentor and develop team members to strengthen technical, security, and leadership capabilities.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering (B.E./B. Tech /M.E. /M. Tech); MCA preferred
- 20 years+ overall experience, including 16–18 years of hands-on expertise in IT Infrastructure and collaboration software (including ITSM tools like ManageEngine and platforms like Office 365 & Zoom)
- Experience in business applications is an added advantage
- Exposure of leading IT Infrastructure in an Engineering set up would be preferred
- Hands-on experience managing cloud environments — primarily AWS and extensive exposure to SaaS-based applications.
