Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver on customer expectations on quality, cost and timelines.
- Planning and implementing modern manufacturing practices e.g. – Lean, Six Sigma, kaizen
- APQP (Advanced Product Quality Process) – Should have proven ability to work as per customers APQP and clear understanding of quality steps required at every stage.
- Value engineering concepts
- Product application mindset beyond the standalone product offering
- Hands on experience in volume production practices
- Exposure to processes like stamping, machining, welding, surface treatments like painting and plating, lean design of special purpose machines etc.
- Problem solving approach preferably in 6 Sigma
- Management of Quality issues and resolution with OEMs / Tier-1, Domestic as also export customers
- Well-versed with modern management tools for manufacturing excellence including Lean Manufacturing, TQM, TPM implementation.
- Responsible as a profit center head controlling PQCDSME
- Good understanding of costing
- Good team leader – high on empathy
- Effective management skill at Corporate and Plant level

Candidate Profile
- Engineer/ Preferably Post Graduate MBA in Operations Management / Industrial Engineering
- Overall experience of 20 -24 years with a few years in the automotive ancillaries manufacturing domain
- Minimum 5 years of experience having managed multiple plant operations of minimum INR 500 Crores value
- Age Profile – 46 Years to 52 years
- Ability to deep dive into situations
- Proactive – on operational as also people related matters
- Complete ownership of the function with end to end responsibility
- Questioning status quo and working on improvement across the function
- Building further processes into the operations to drive productivity and optimize efficiencies
- Ability to manage multiple plants / multiple locations
- Inclusive leader commanding respect from the team for his knowledge and experience
