Responsibilities
Job Purpose
- This is a new leadership position created to partner with the Group CFO to drive Corporate Financial Services as an enabler of profitable business growth
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and accounting procedures
- Responsible for financial and cost audits, quarterly financial reporting, annual report compilation, regular SEBI LODR compliances
- Ensure adherence and compliance with all other applicable statutory and regulatory norms
- Design, strategize and deliver direct and indirect tax initiatives
- Ensure high standards of controls over financial processes, and over financial reporting
- Oversee Treasury & Banking Relationship, Trade Finance, FX & Commodity Risk Management
- Overseeing P2P
- Contribute to various cross-functional initiatives / programs/ projects
- Contribute to improvement in the Company’s profitability and ROCE enhancement initiatives
- Identify, evaluate and address financial risk
- Identify and deliver on the automation and digitization agenda, own process productivity enhancement initiatives
- Create a healthy talent pipeline within the team and groom and develop effective functional managers for the organization in the financial accounting and tax functions
- Contribute to building the brand image as an organization, serve as a brand ambassador in external forums
- Drive adherence to the organization’s Values & beliefs and serve as a role model
- Implement and champion organizational change agenda relating to the finance function
- External networking to raise the internal functional performance bar
Key Performance Indicators
- Financial management, financial accounting, statutory reporting, SEBI compliances
- Banking, Treasury, Trade Finance, Technology in Finance
- PBT contribution through cost optimization, productivity enhancement
- Design and drive implementation of direct and indirect tax structures and initiatives
- Drive internal financial controls program including ICFR
- Regulatory compliance including FEMA
- Company growth, profitability, and ROCE target
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant
- Additional LLB / CS / ICMA degree preferred
- Age between 45 to 47 years
Past Experience
- Worked with a listed, Indian manufacturing organization; project Company would be an added advantage
- Total experience of 20+ years
- Sound Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Accounting, Audits, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Governance, Treasury, Risk management, Board Affairs Management
- Knowledge of changes in accounting standards (IND AS), Tax laws, FEMA, SEBI, GST, Corporate Finance
- Exposure to SAP or any other ERP
